ABOUT AURELIS

We didn't convert a van. We waited for the right one.

Where we are today: Aurelis is a funded, pre-production project — no Aurelis One has been built yet. The vehicle images on this site are design renders, first deliveries are targeted for spring 2027, and registering your interest helps us shape the build and decide what to produce first. No payment, no commitment.

A Kia PV5 Passenger — the base for every Aurelis One CC0 · Wikimedia Commons

Aurelis began in Sofia with a conviction and a waiting list of one. The conviction: the pop-top camper — perfected over sixty years on combustion vans — is about to be reinvented by the electric platform, and nobody is building for it properly. Retrofitting diesel-era furniture into an EV wastes everything the platform offers.

So we waited for the right base vehicle. The Kia PV5 Passenger gave us what no combustion van could: a completely flat floor, factory side glazing and homologated seating to build around, a 71.2 kWh battery that doubles as camp infrastructure, vehicle-to-load power built in, and a 7-year factory warranty that survives conversion.

Every Aurelis One will be converted in-house — furniture CNC-cut from poplar ply and recycled aluminium, powered from the vehicle's V2L system. We'll build slowly, in the order interest was registered, and we'd rather cap production than compromise the build.

What we hold ourselves to

01

Electric-native, not retrofitted

Every system — heating, cooling, cooking, lighting — is designed around the high-voltage platform. No gas, no diesel heater, no generator, ever.

02

The warranty survives

Our conversion is engineered to keep the Kia 7-year/150,000 km factory warranty intact, so your camper stays serviceable at any Kia dealer.

03

Built to be repaired

Modular furniture on a rail floor, standard fasteners, published part numbers. Any module can be removed, repaired or upgraded — including by you.

The people building it

Aurelis is founder-led. For three years we've run The Stable, a camper-rental company in Sofia — so we know first-hand what a rental fleet demands. Aurelis turns what we learned there into a camper of our own. We grow the team as we move toward production.
